What’s a Promotion and Who Does What?
In BrandBlum, Brand Marketers create “promotions” (that’s just a fancy word for promotional campaigns). Here’s who does what:
- You (Retail Store Team Member): You can check out promotion details and complete tasks.
- Brand Sales Team: They see the promotion info too, and they’ll approve or reject the tasks you finish.
Start at “My Promotions”
You’ll kick things off on the My Promotions screen, just like the one below:
What You’ll See on My Promotions
On the My Promotions screen, you’ll get a quick look at all the promotional programs for your store. They’re sorted into tabs:
- Current Promotions: These are active promotions that have started but haven’t ended yet.
- Coming Soon: These haven’t started yet, but they’re coming up soon!
- Past Promotions: These have already ended, but you can still submit tasks for them.
- Closed Promotions: These are finished and locked. You can’t submit or resubmit tasks, and the Brand Sales team can’t make any approvals.

The Search Box
Looking for a specific promotion? Just type in part of the promotion name, promotion rules, or promotion notes in the search box to find what you need. Keep in mind, the search only shows promotions for the tab you’re on, so make sure you’re in the right place!
See Promotion
To dive into a promotion, just click the See Promotion button (it’s highlighted in red in the top screenshot).
